Hi, I believe I'm using a dual core processor here on this Vista laptop, and JAWS 9 whizzes by.

I use a dual core here and no problems what so ever. Jaws doesn't care how many cores your processor has. Be advised jaws doesn't actually use theother cores either but performance is much better as other programs will usethe other cors freeing up CPU for jaws itself.
