Bill,

Yes that was the first thing I checked, and it's enabled for not only the 
default.JDF file, but also for the application in question.

Wish it had been that simple.

Have you checked in your configuration manager under "set options" then
under text processing to make sure your dictionaries are turned on for the
specific applications?
