Matthew, the Eloquence that comes with JAWS is tightly integrated, so you
will not be able to use that as an external synthesizer for your needs.
However, there is a Sapi4 version, but the only place I know of is to
download a demo copy of Window-Eyes and install the Eloquence that is
shipped with it. Hope that helps.

OK, do users of Omnipage 16 find that the mp3 creation feature is
accessible? I'm getting Omnipage 16 pro, and have heard that this version
has the ability to convert scanned text or imported files into mp3. How is
this accomplished, and what kind of control do you have over it, such as
voice selection and speed? Does it look for voices on your system, like the
Eloquence which comes with Jaws?
Thanks a lot.
Matthew
