I am also using avast 4.7 on and Jaws 10,; for me it works fine after I managed
to disable the skins. to do this:
1- jaws key + F11 to see the system tray
2. scroll to avast and press enter
3. scroll to program settings and press enter
4. in the common item in the list tab to its subsections until you find a check
box"enable skins for simple user interface".
5. uncheck it.
6. tab to ok and press it

Hi folks. I am using Avast on two computers, and the latest version of jaws
on both. The problem is, on one machine, jaws reads the Avast screen fine, but
on the other, it does not. I'm probably missing something that is very simple
