OE Message Limits

Ok, a moment with google found this:

outlook express folders are limited to 2GB per folder (per .dbx file), the number of messages you can store will vary depending upon the size of the messages and attachments.

So, if you need to store more than 2gb of mail, perhaps sort some of it into folders with useful names, maybe one per year, 2006 2007 2008 etc. Or, archive some of the .dbx files so Outlook Express doesn't have to deal with them, especially when you're trying to search for something.
