OCR software and Jaws

One can use the cheap OCR software to scan small stuff, but I really like
something like openbook or Kurzweil. There are so many other access
things that openbook or Kurzweil gives one access too.

for example one can pull in documents into openbook and then save them out
into various formats. One of the tricks I've been doing lately is pulling
in pdfs into openbook and then saving them out as mp3 files and then
burning these mp3 files on to cds so that I can listen to them with my
Victor portible reading machine. Its a lot easier when travelling to work
on the bus using the victor then a laptop. It seems to me I've heard
rumours that saving to daisy format is coming as an option for the future
as well.

Just wanted to add my experience with OCR and openbook etc and one of the
tricks I've learned to get access to material when using Jaws isn't the
most convenient.
