This is a standard program you will encounter in Windows XP. If you go to www.jfwlite.com and click helpful hints (by "click", of course, I mean tab to it and press enter) you'll find some info about configuring JAWS with Windows XP. Please make sure you follow that closely. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terri Lynne Pomeroy" <terri_lynne@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "jfw" <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, October 02, 2004 4:15 AM Subject: O E inbox > Okay, this weird thing has just started happening in my O E with JFW 5.1. In the inbox, as I arrow up and down with the pc cursor, jaws reads the sender and subject for each message. But if I hit read current line, it just says "top. Outlook Express message list. 190 of 199." Or whatever message I am on. > And I just went to jaws to double check my exact version number, but jaws won't read in the menu as I up or down arrow. It also doesn't give me the messages such as "press insert f1 for help." > Have I unwittingly made a change somewhere? What do I need to do to get this back to normal reading? > > Thanks much, > > Terri Lynne > > -- > To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. > Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfw > > If you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
