You have to use the schedult automatic updating and decide when to do the auto
update.  for manual updating go to start->programs->norten.  then in Norten, you
should land on the live update button hit spacebar on that not enter, hit next,
next again then when it's done hit finnish.  The configure option under live
update is a little deceptive it's for configuring your internet settings.  to
schedule updating choose the schedule automatic updates option from the file
menu.  Remember that norten has buttens to tab to when first opened as well as
menus like other virus programs.
