Microsoft Publisher

Hi All,
How do I use Microsoft Publisher successfully with Jaws?
Or, is it even possible?
My son's teacher sends home a great deal of stuff and uses Publisher, and I
do have it on my computer, but I've never used it.
I have JFW 9, Windows XP, and I think MS Office 2003!
