Chip, I was also referring to Freedom Scientific sitting with me on the
phone as I reproduced the issue. The crashes are serious crashes.
I simply can choose to use MaGIC alone but I had hoped for far far more
when I took the recommendation to use the ATI Radion card.
David is probably right that the issues complicate when one uses 2 software
programs for blind and visually impaired at once even if produced bythe
same company.
That is why I wrote so many letters to F S asI wanted the issue to be
pinpointed right away.
Other than using the ATI card, I would bet that MAGIC and JAWS would
coexist quite well and work together well.
I usedthe oldL P Windows the predecessor of MAGIc and worked with Zoomtext
a bit. I would say that MAGIC is a good program and should work with jAWS
*normally* without problems.
MAGIC is very stable in and of itself.
