I work on word with large documents all the time and before I close it I mark
it with 3 stars (***). I know that it seems like a nuisance but if you want to
continue editting or reading a large document this method is fool proof. Judith

We have Word 2000 and find it a nuisance that when we reopen a document, the
cursor is not where we finished last time, but back at the beginning of the
document.
Are all versions of Word the same in this respect? It is a nuisance to have
to insert a bookmark every time.
