Hi,
What you describe would render about 1/3 of whatI do notworkable on the web.
For a lot of us, can one use JAWS 8 with I E 6?

Jim, this is one of my gripes too. I will miss how jaws used to render pages. Unfortunately, it's completely gone. We need to tell fs about this, and maybe they'll fix the new way to work like the old way.

While we're on this subject, I've noticed that if you're on some random text and tab or shift tab to a link, some times jaws won't read the link and will still be in the same place as if you had not done anything. If you tab or shift tab again, you skip a link completely. Legacy support didn't have this problem.

Thanks,
Blake

Hi to the list.
In Jaws 7.1, in Internet Explorer's configuration options, umder settings,
HTML, on the Misc tab, there was a checkbox for legacy support for Internet
Explorer.
It seems that with Jaws 7.10, enabling this legacy support seemed to render
some web pages more efficiently.
I cannot find this legacy support in Jaws 8, is it completely gone?
Thanks.
