Hi Jim,
I first learned JAWS at the Oregon Commission for the Blind. Computer
training is part of the whole program. I learned to use JAWS with Excel
from someone the Blind Commission hired to come to my office.
I think it's great Judith could learn JAWS from the tapes. I learned it
mostly by having to use it for work.
I still do not use it as efficiently as I could...The list helps.

Hi Listers, in so much as F S, and the Veterans Administration will not
share a syllabus or any outline about teaching JFW to brand new students
with me. I would appreciate hearing from list members regarding how they
first learned Jaws (don't spare the details) . I started out with the F S
tutorials and another blind guy coming to my house once a week, mostly
helping me with keyboard orientation. All this is about the Jaws for Vets
mentoring program. Thank you all in advance!
