In my new install of Jaws 8 on an xp laptop, I use a nice text editor called Textpad. I've used this for years with no troubles. But, this time, there are issues. Whenever Jaws is in that editor and sitting on a letter of a word, it says the letter repeatedly, only stops when I leave the editor or move to a diferent letter, at which point, it starts repeating that letter ad infinitum.
Obviously, this keeps me from getting anything done in the text editor. Any ideas wold be most welcome.
