I have noticed that the problem with jaws going quiet started with version
6. before that it did not do that.

It seems to be something with certain pages. If you close the page it comes back but the odd thing is ALT-Tabbing doesn't bring Jaws back.

Hmm, I thought it was only my problem. I also thought it was a Triple Talk
thing. I am using the Triple Talk and I suspected that it was some sort of
buffer problem. Oh yes, the Triple Talk is a USB unit.

Hi, I have Jaws 7.0 on a new computer running Windows XP Home sp2.
At times, Jaws quits talking.
This seems to happen the most often in Internet Explorer 6.
It is not a complete lock up. My Alva Braille display still works fine.
Quite often, when I close IE, Jaws will resume speech.
I'm wondering if this is a known issue, or if there is something I could check on this computer?
