Hi Daniel and Other Fellow Listers:I've got the Virtual PC cursor problem solved in the Jaws scripts for Thunderbird. It now turns off automatically when I'm composing a message and turns on again when I tab to other fields.
There is, however, one more problem that I've discovered with the current scripts and Jaws 9.0. If, when composing a message, I hit control+shift+a to insert an attachment, I get the following error: "Unknown script call to:attach." The IT person here at my office thinks the scripts might be missing some code. Do you think that is the case?

Thanks.I was hoping someone else could host them. Also re the cursor thing. Its a bit more complicated than I thought. Maybe we couldadd some code in auto start and new text event. It could set a variable to 1 if get title contains "compose:" maybe a cap C?Then if not so an else obviously just set the var to one. and turn it off... We could then say if is compose and var_whatever ==1 then return I don't know but something like that.I can't really help you anymore sorry. I don't have a compiler to mess with and I am on linux. So I use a free screenreader not jaws.So ask on the jfw scripting list but they will probably tell you to read the manual if you have no idea about the language.-- Daniel Dalton http://members.iinet.net.au/~ddalton/ daniel.dalton47@xxxxxxxxx -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.comJFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfwIf you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
