This must be a jaws bug because I to notice that with all items checked
under view, no announcement is maid. Also, jaws doesn't report the status
of all the items under the view->columns dialog. Some it says checked or
unchecked others it does not say either way. Attachment is one of those
items.

Subject: Jaws 510 not announcing attachment in o/e

Jaws 5.0 announces if there is an attachment in outlook express.
When using 510, however, jaws will not announce the attachment.
There must be something in the settings menu in jaws that has come
unchecked but
I have not been able to find it.
I have compared most of the settings in the configuration menu in set
options
such as user, html, text, say-all and verbosity options and everything
appears
to match the old settings.
This is clearly a jaws version issue as the attachment announcement works
in 5.0
and does not work in 510.
Does anyone know what setting needs to be changed here? I have spent 2 to
3
hours looking for the problem and have not found it yet so certainly any
info
would be much appreciated. While tinkering with jaws is lots of fun, life
does
have so much more to offer. Any help much appreciated; thanks!
