this is often due to processor timing.  It is seen less in higher speed
computers and later operating systems.

    Hi,
I  changed the subject  line as Ido  not  understand whati s  happening
here.
I  am using  JAWS 5 andwhen I  up or  particularly down arrow on the  net,
The pitch and definitely the speed of what I am  hearing can change for 1
sentence andreturn to  normal again.
Any  ideas.
