Nothing worked for me except for starting Jaws from the hot key.

Ok, I've checked "rely on MSAA for listviews" in the Outlook.jcf file and found
it unchecked in the default file--let's see how that works because it's gotten
really annoying. Thanks a lot.--Betsey Doane

It sounds like it may be related to what is discussed here
http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_support/BulletinView.cfm?QC=1115

The solution appears to be call it an issue and slap a TSN on that baby!

When I use Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Pro with JFW7.1 a few things go wrong:

(1) Sometimes it gets stuck on a message in a listview so that I cannot arrow
down to the next message.
(2) This phenomenon also occurs if automatic reading of messages is turned on
when I go to find a specific message. The list of results looks like a list of
1 item when there are in fact several!

Restarting JFW does the trick in the first instance.

Anyone else experience this annoyance?
