128mb of ram is a bit tight. Also, it will depend on the video in the
laptop as to whether or not it will perform well with jaws. Some dell
contracted video is not compatible or at best tough to use.

I have inherited a Dell Latitude CPX pentium 3 laptop which operates at 450
MHz. with 128 meg ram, using windows 98. Is there any reason not to use JFW
5.0 on this machine? I don't plan to try to update processor, ram or
operating system as this machine is basically just for note taking and
email away from home. Several list members have told me they are using 5.0
with windows 98 but didn't mention how much memory they were using.
