Cher,

When I initially tried Turbo Tax this year, almost none of the screens were
talking. In previous years, I did not have this problem. Since many web
pages with forms are now being written with Java applets, I installed the
latest Java Access Bridge. After that, Jaws began speaking all of the turbo
Tax screens. Like you, I did find that many entries in forms were not
properly identified as I tabbed through the forms. I had to jump in and out
of forms mode a lot.

The Java Access Bridge helps screen readers access screen information
displayed by Java programs or applets. It is available for free from Sun
Microsystems. It is easy to install. It can be downloaded at:

http://java.sun.com/products/accessbridge/

Tom
