Hi Derek,
Does your friend have Outlook Express set up to empty the deleted
items folder on exit? If he/she doesn't, then he/she may have
thousands of messages in his/her deleted items folder. If this is the
case, it might take a while for the folder to show all the messages.
Tell your friend to arrow down to the deleted items folder and wait
for maybe five minutes and see if Jaws begins speaking after a while.
If Jaws does start speaking, your friend may wish to empty the folder.
