I have no explanation for this behavior but I can confirm that after isntalling SP2 I have also encountered mysterious delays between keystrokes. This is the norm with JAWS 6 turned " off. . .However with JAWS 6 after Service Pack 2, JAWS reads the closed file name .and no matter what you do, one has to wait before down arrowing. This is .slower and really noticeable. . .With other JAWS versions, there is less of a pause when closing a folder and .down or up arrowing to the next file to open. . .This behaviour happens when alt tabbing. . .Would you believe if you run MAGIC with JAWS 6 simultaneously that the .rapid accustomd dto rapid manoeuvering after closing files is fast, rapid as .if JAWS were never turned on. .One notices this slow paused ability to move from closed file to c losed .file morew ith JAWS 6 and this is an occurance that happens after Service .Pack 2. . .What amazed me is that either with no JAW 6 S in use at all or with .MAGIC, one can experience no hesitationa t all ever. . .-- .To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx .To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. .Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfw . .If you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
