Joan Yes, I know. that isn't any problem at all to me. I mean, being interrupted by the screen saver because I haven't touched a key in 20 minutes or so (the interval of nonactivity after which I've set the screen saver to come on). In fact, I so seldom don't touch the keyboard for so long that this isn't likely to happen when I'm actually at the computer, long document or not. Thanks for the reassurance. I was just trying to figure out if a screen saver actually sabotaged Jaws in some way I wouldn't understand intuitively. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joan Cummings" <cummings@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, April 29, 2005 9:51 AM Subject: JAWS and Screen saver Hi: I ignore the "Screen saver - none" advice. However, if you do have one running and want to read a long document with the "say all" command, JAWS will stop speaking (and so will the "say all" when the screen saver cuts in. All you need do to resume reading, however, is to bring the document screen into focus again and press "say all" again. JAWS will taake up reading again where it left off.
