This answer only works if the user has the folder tree view enabled. Many don't, because it gives you a wider display, and you can hear more of the name of the sending user and the subject line. The control Y for the folder dialog does always work, and lets you go anywhere. You can press the I key and usually land right on the inbox item. ------------------------------ Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission Chip.Orange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (850) 413-6314 (Any opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the Florida Public Service Commission.) ________________________________ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jeffrey Shockley Sent: Saturday, June 23, 2007 4:16 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: JAWS and Outlook XP Hi, While you are in either of these parts in Outlook (it doesn't where; it could be in the Inbox, Calendar, Journal, Inbox, etc. just press F6 and that will take you from the tree view with the folders in it back to where you were. While in that tree view, you can just navigate to the folder or where ever you want to go and open it like you normally would. Hope this helps, Jeffrey P.s: Outlook XP is the same as Outlook 2002. I am using JAWS 6.2 and this question is regarding my work machine. Patricia e-mail: bcsarah.fan@xxxxxxxxx msn: bc_sarah_fan@xxxxxxxxxxx
