get a asus 1005. i have one and love it full size chicklet keys on a well
laid out keyboard and all there functions and hot keys work with jaws. it
has 3 u s b ports a monitor port network 10 100 cad input wyfi bluetooth
built in 1.3 net cam, and the battery last me about 8 to 9 hours

Subject: JAWS and Netbooks
Hello:
I am very interested in obtaining a Netbook that would be compatible with
JAWS.
My main interests lie with email, Skype, and the Internet (wifi). I would
also like at least 2 USB ports, either USB II or higher, or FireWires that
could be used for external hard-drive memory (music).
And, with a regular QWERTY keyboard, which does not have to be full sized,
of course.
I am planning to take off and travel for a few years and would be mainly
using this device to stay in touch with people and to research future
itineraries and to keep myself entertained.
Any suggestions and possible assistance in putting such a combination
together would be greatly appreciated. I am fairly technical, but not like
you fearless kids are.
Money is no object as long as it is for a successful expenditure and not
spread over time with failed experimentation.
