Hi, Sounds like the F4 key may be bad. That would mean that when you are hitting Alt+ F4, all the system is seeing is the Alt key, which is activating the menu bar. I will be very curious if you encounter the same problem I have when using a USB keyboard. That is, the Jaws key does not work reliably every time it is pressed. That's the only issue I've seen when using a USB keyboard.
