Hi Patricia. I think this is an issue with the 7.1 beta. I don't know if it applies to earlier versions of Jaws. Did you try refreshing the screen with jaws key escape or refreshing IE with f5? I would sometimes have the same problem with WindowEyes and IE. It sometimes gets worse if a new browser window has been opened. ----- Original Message ----- From: Patricia A. Thorsen Yes, the problem is happening on the Internet...it helps to know that I am not alone in having it happen. I was doing some testing online database testing work, so that confirms my suspicion that my problem is JAWS-related, rather than a malfunction of the database testing I am doing. Most of my work with JAWS is in Internet Explorer, so what you are saying is quite helpful. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "Bobcat" bobcat11@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx no Jaws expert but I understand this can happen in Internet Explorer. Are you having this problem in other apps and Windows in general? ----- Original Message ----- From: Patricia A. Thorsen This morning and late yesterday afternoon, I noticed that JAWS was reading the previous screen when I had advanced to a new screen. Has anyone encountered this situation before? This problem is not happening consistently, it has only happened a handful of times. At first I thought I was missing something...but, it was just enough to make me wonder what was happening.
