Not sure what you mean that it looks complicated.
1. open messager or whatever im client you are using
2. press jaws key + d to open the dictionary manager (this can also be done
with JAWSKey+f2)
3. once the dictionary manager is opened tab to the list of dictionary
entries.
4. down arrow to "im = immediate message"
5. depending on what you want to do tab to either the change or delete
buttons and press the space bar.

this is in the dictionary file for messenger, so you can fix it with the
dictionary manager.
