I know ""710" was just a typo, and you meant "7.10,"but I'm smiling because
it makes this sound like something about a problem with one of our local
Southern California freeways that are in the Interstate highway System
needing to be repaired or expanded. Which sounds pretty normal, here where
I live. People givedirections by saying things like "Get onto the 10 East
at La Cienega and take it to the 710, go north on the 710 and then get off
at the Colorado Boulevard exit."

Anyway, what you say is just what I suspected. And, having been through
weeks of complaints and confusion on the list when people did install 7.1,
before it finally calmed down and people stopped threatening to sue FS and
not renew their SMA's and so forth, I figured I'd just wait for version 8
before I commit myself to going through the usual disruption that a new
version always seems to bring, not just on the list, of course, but in my
own work and computer usage, too. So I'm just gonna wait for the new Jaws
version and, once I get that in hand, try out the new browser. I don't feel
there's any problem so urgent in my case that I can't wait a bit.

Thanks for responding.

I believe it is only for jfw 710.

To patch 7.0 they would have to issue a new version and I think they have
gotten away from that practice.

But you never no.
