That's a deceptively simple answer to a question that deserves a more
involved response.
Yes, it works, but there are problems. It works better with Itunes 8.0 than
it does with 9.0, and it's not perfect by any means.
When I upgraded to Itunes 9.0, I quickly discovered that I had given up
significant accessibility by upgrading. I had more trouble doing searches,
and more trouble with the store pages. I ended up having to delete my
library and re-install the older version.
