Insert + NumPad 5 will usually read the list item, followed by the index.

Hi all,
is there a shortcut key for that? i mean whenever there is a list e.g. the
list of files in my computer or list of friends in yahoo; example 5 of 29
is there some navigation quick keys by the indexes rather than the names?
i couldn't find anything in the configuration manager about the list
indexes; there must be something there!
any suggestion/hint is greatly appreciated.
