Sure, I expected that someone would point that out. But some domains are not 
simple, and you can't change those. Mine is sbcglobal.net, and I've managed 
to transpose the "B" and "G" more than once.

Paul's script is nice.

And of course Gerald you know that you can use it for any other often-used 
chunk of text, such as a signature block at the end of a message, for 
example?

But yes, my example of an E-Mail address was somewhat absurd.

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to just create a shorter, simpler email address?
Then you wouldn't need scripts in the first place.
