Subject: Getting JAWS to Say 'Unread' in Windows Live Mail
Hello All:
I was asked a question by someone running JAWS 11 on a Windows 7 machine.
When he views messages in Windows Live Mail, JAWS will say 'Unread' when
he arrows to unread messages. I went into Tools and options, and
unchecked the box that says 'Mark as read after displaying for'. I
maximized my screen. I checked to make sure the 'Flag' column is being
displayed when viewing the inbox, it is. Still, JAWS won't say 'Unread'.
Any ideas? My client could always use ctrl-U to move to the next unread
message, but if there's a way to get JAWS to say 'Unread' when you are
arrowing through messages I would like to know about it.
