Hi, I'm not so sure of that. When Chandler bought HJ and the other companies, he intended to ape the general software market, and I believe, intended to use this as a jumping off point to market to lots of disability groups. I have noted over the years that the quality of service and product from FS's components has gone down. I bought Jaws twice: the first time in 1990 as a dos program that I never mastered. The second time it was for Windows, JFW 3.0. I got good help getting my first computer set up, but not much for Jaws at the time. I have had every version since and can get the help I need when I need it. I have to say though that I renewed my SMA recently rather reluctantly. I do have Window Eyes also, and depending how the next couple of years go, I may migrate to it completely. There are some good people at FS, but I think the best of them may have their hands tied or at the very least, have to go through hoops to get what customers need. One of them did that for me last summer. I am also disturbed at the continuing problems with vidio intercept. I guess the tale will be told for me on that one when I replace my Windows 98 SE machine, which I hope to do next year.
