Hi Rhonda,
Give this a try:
Check to see what your screen echo is set to, if it is set to none, it could
cause this behavior.
You can check this pretty quick, by pressing jaws key, and the letter V.

Subject: Focus Issues

Hi all,

I have some weird things occurring lately with Jaws 7.0, when I've made no
recent
changes to how I have it configured.

It used to be when I minimized to my desktop with Windows Key-M, it would
say
"desktop and the item the cursor was on, plus whether or not it was
selected. When I
would open OE, it would say Outlook Express and the item my cursor was on,
and if I
used the go-to command to get to another folder, it would read Go-to Folder
and say
the one I had visited last. Also, Jaws would read the fields when I tabbed
and now it
doesn't. All this started almost a week ago and I can't find anything
different in
the settings that somehow got changed. Anyone know what the problem might
be?

Thanks,
Rhonda
