Fax service in winxp pro & Jaws5.1

Hi friends,
I've installed the fax service and now, I can send a fax by opening ms word,
typing the file, I wish to fax, press ctrl+p for print and there, to select my
fax and start the wizard.
I have noticed that it produced in my ms word, a basic file that called:
professional fax.dot
It's like the file normal.dot but this new one is for the fax files.
My problem is that I can't read faxes that are sent to me because these are tif
files, not doc files.
I went to the configuration options and tried to change it but I see that the
tif file is the default one.
Can someone tell me, how can I change this tif default file to doc default file.
I hope, I make things clear.
