Yardbird, what's wrong with hitting the control key to silence speech if you're in Say All mode? and, isn't it insert+2 for Say All, not 8, or rather, insert+down arrow? The shift keys during Say All fast forward or rewind, as the left and right arrows also do. Left shift or arrow rewinds; right shift or arrow fast forwards.
