External hard drives and JAWS

Dear Listers,
I am making an internal hard drive into an external hard drive.
If I copy JAWS onto this hard drive and I plug the external drive into another
computer, will JAWS run as if it was on the new computer?
I am doing an internship in DC and I want to be able to use the other computers
in the building without having to install JAWS on each computer I will be
working on.
