ILM is the way we authorize jaws now with the CD you put in and/or the
string of 20 numbers, and the dongle was what they've used the last a
couple years for those that didn't have a floppy disk drive for the older
authorization, they came up with the dongle that plugs in to the USB port
to authorize jaws but now that we have ILM which is actually done over the
internet, with that 20 digit code I don't think we'll see dongles anymore
except in unusual situations if at all. I'm hanging on to my dongle version
of jaws 5.0 because I work on computers a lot, enough that I need something
like that, the demo works some times but it's just not enough if you're in a
major diagnostic situation
