Kathy, I am having trouble shutting down my computer.
I hit windows key and up arrow and it says turn off computer button. But then it is not giving me choices to stand by, turn off, restart, or hibernate. It used too, but suddenly it's not. Don't know how to make it normal again.

Jim, I'm probably being too simple here, but the shut down on the start menu
has choices of turn off = u or restart = r.
escape + control
up arrow to bottom, click shut down
press r
computer will reboot- although you need to have all programs except jaws
closed

I know there is a command to shut down your computer, but is there one to restart the computer? Thanks for your help. I am running XP Pro and Jaws 7. Jim
