Hi,
I like the new start menu in Windows 7, too, though when I go into All
Programs, I have to scroll through the list completely before all of the items
appear. It's like the old Windows XP setting where personalized menus was
turned on, which I never could stand. Why is that and how do I fix it?

Not that I know of. I do however prefer the new start menu over the classic
one. Now, if you want a classic windows feel of your control pannel just select
medium icons and there you go.
