No, Jaws key plus five on the num pad speaks the word which the cursor is on
if I press once, and wspells the word if I press twice. I remember there's
a way to get Jaws to spell a word using military or nautical speak,
representing each letter by a word, but I can't remember how that's done.

Hi Yardbird,

Sorry.
Forget to mention that this combination is only valid with the laptop
keyboard configuration, with the regular desktop keybozard as I
remember must be JawsKeyplus 5 on the numpad ...

Y> Hi,

Y> A little Jaws question for you all : I hope you will help me to Y> solve this ...

Y> In previous Jaws 6.x version when
Y> we pressed JawsKey plus the comma sign, one time it pronounced the
Y> character at the active cursor, two times it pronounced the phonetic
Y> representation of the characters and three times it pronounced the
Y> ascii value of the character : for example, one time e, two times
Y> Echo, three 101.
Y> But in the latest 6.x version rather than saying the ascii value when
Y> we press three time this keystroke combination, it pronounces for example
Y> for the same letter e
Y> character 1 0 1 instead of the correct ascii value, why ?
Y> Do you have a clue ?
Y> Or have you found the solution ?
