Hi Steve. To change any of the voices, do the following.
1 Bring up the JAWS window with JAWS key plus J.
2 Bring up the options menu with alt plus O.
3 Arrow down to the Voices submenu and then to Individual Voice.
4 Arrow down to PC voice and tab until you get to the Person combobox.
Please note this only changes the reading voice for the speech synthesizer
you're currently using. After completing your desired change tab to the Okay
button and hit Enter or the spacebar. HTH.

Hi, folks. I use a braille display, so I don't get into the voice settings
much.
I'm using Jaws version 7.1 on Windows XP home. Is there a way to change
the
main reading voice without adding another synthesizer? I'd rather have one
of the female voices be the main reading voice.
