Hi Arianna,
I don't know if you have tried to modify your Jaws installation yet.
Normally, there will be a Select Components screen where you put a check
mark on both Speech Synthesizers and DECtalk Express. On the next screens,
you will be asked to select your primary device. Here, primary device means
your default speech synthesizer. Just arrow down and select DECtalk Express.
There will be another screen where you select the output port com4. Hope
this will help.

I wrote about this problem earlier and received instructions to go into JAWS
installation maintenance, selecting DTE as the default synth and to change
the com port in the hardware tab. I found no hardware tab nor any place to
change the com port which needs to be changed from one to four.
Can you suggest anything here?
