One thing you can do is to write the document. When you are finished
highlight the lines you want to center and then press ctrl+e.

Subject: Centering Text in Word

I have problems centering text in Word. That is, I know that if I hit
"control E", the text will be centered, but it doesn't give a verbal prompt
like the "bold" command (control B) does, so I never know when its turned
off. I've ended up centering entire documents without knowing.
Typically, I just want to center the top line or two, in a document.
Would appreciate any tips on this,
Danney
