There should be a dialog that pops up telling you whether you want to allow
something or not and a check box in that dialog to make the change permenant or
just for this time.  If you have to completely turn nortin firewall off, that's
done in the system tray.  You hit enter on disable.  I'm assuming you don't have
to go that far to get it working.  If you have to disable it, you can find
nortin under the programs menu enable is just one of the links after it is open.
