RE: CD Burners; JAWS can't read

When I swapped out my DVD player and CD burner for a DVD burner all sort
of funny things happened. I could no longer play CDs and DVDs. The
problem seems to have been the code in the DVD burner. Someone
recognized that - Oh Horrors - I might want to copy the CD or DVD and,
subsequently, nothing would play. Just install Power DVD on your system
and all of these problems may disappear.

No, I haven't tried it with JAWS 4.5 on the new computer and yes my cd
burner also doubles as my dvd burner. I'll try the former and try to

Is your CD and DVD burner the same drive?
If so, this might be the issue. You need to see if the program can work
= on a combination CD/DVD burner. If not, I had great luck with Nero in
the past! Also, have you tried your CD burning software with JFW 4.5 on
your new = computer? You might want to give this a try. Chuck
