Wait a second... That's the track list. I mean the artists list. It should only list artists, nothing else. Try finding it with F6. If you find it, it will say iTunesBrowseLibraryView. If you can't find this window, then your iTunes settings are somehow different, which I don't think you can disable this column. Or iTunes 10.2 had some new addition to this window. I just downloaded the new iTunes like a few days ago. ----- Original Message ----- From: Peter Holdstock To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, April 02, 2011 6:37 AM Subject: Re: Blind Tunes fixes Saturday April 2 Hi it says itunestracklist2 29. I'd have to play around with the scripts a little. Do me a favor, can you f6 over to the artists column and press Control + shift + X. This will tell me the class name of that window and it's position. ----- Original Message ----- From: Peter Holdstock To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, April 02, 2011 4:35 AM Subject: Re: Blind Tunes fixes Saturday April 2 As far as I’m aware it’s the latest version. The last link you sent and I installed earlier this morning. Also latest version of Itunes and JAWS 12. When pressing enter on films it does the same for films but puts me on to the music option in the sources list. I just started trying it for all options in the sources list and I seem to be getting diferent results to when I ran Itunes a few minutes ago i.e. it did move me in to the TV programme list when pressing enter on TV programmes but now doesn’t seem to be working again. Apologies as a bit hung over so not able to think straight, but there seems to be some inconistancy with what results I get. I’ll have a play again later when more concious to make sure itt’s me, but it’s pretty straight forward to do so can’t see how I’d be doing anything wrong. Still think it’s great though so far. If no artists column is found, it drops you on the tracks list. Pretty automatic really. I didn't like hitting enter on the sidebar with the music selection and have it play. It is showing you the artists list right? ----- Original Message ----- From: Peter Holdstock To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, April 01, 2011 11:54 PM Subject: Re: Blind Tunes fixes Saturday April 2 Hi, this is great and by the looks of it much better than J Junes so thanks for your work. I’ve just run Itunes for the first time. Whilst on the sources list, if I press enter on music it actually tels me how much music etc I have rather than jumping me to the list of songs. Is that correct? From what I read in your fantastic guides itshould jump me to the list of songs. Cheers peter From: John Martyn Sent: Saturday, April 02, 2011 9:33 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Blind Tunes fixes Saturday April 2 Ok, it was a good run today. Found some stuff and here are the latest fixes. I recommend you download this new one because it contains critical changes. First off, the enter key was giving some trouble. That issue is fixed so it properly focuses windows. Next, you can hit enter on renaming a playlist and such. Next, you can do searches on a playlist as well as the library. You can also do searches in the iTunes store now by just hitting enter in the search field. Then you tab down to the results. Also, I have incorporated the guides. Press control + shift + G to hear them. I recommend reading the search feature because it has some good tips. Even for experienced users used to the iTunes interface. That does it for now. 100 downloads in a day isn't too bad. http://www.RhapsodyBlind.com/BlindTunesBetaSetup.exe
