The edict to *NOT* use a screen saver has been around for longer than I can
remember.
One of the few really good things about W7 is that, at least on my Pavilion
laptop, when the system goes into "sleep" mode everything comes up just as
it should when you wake it back up. JAWS does not seem to experience any
problems when it comes back to life;. This is an improvement over previous
editions for sure.
However, I will mention that Outlook 2007 may or may not come back to life
with all of it's options in working order. (LOLLOLLOL)

Freedom Scientific specifically instructs to not use any screen savers with
JAWS. I'm not surprised you're having some problems.

Heya folks,

Just bought this netbook last few days and a weird thing so far is am
getting crashes whenever my screensaver is set to anything 3D, such as 3d
pipes, 3d flower box etc but on the other screensaver Jaws just announces
Screensaver and no blue screen of death.

I had a techno guy come over where I bought my netbook from and he was able
to stop XP home from rebooting automatically after the crash and see the
error say something to do with Jaws.exe. It didn't crash at all on any of
the other screensavers as we tested them all.

Anyone here have any idea what it maybe? Am running Jaws 9 on the above XP
Home netbook

Cheers,

Jim
